Subject: The chutes, LaMabbe Creek Dimensions (inches): 5.25 x 4 Medium: Graphite Description: This creek was a favourite boyhood haunt of mine, with many hours spent exploring and fishing along its course. The chutes take on a dynamic character in the spring when the water is running high. After winding along through many pools and lesser rapid runs it empties into the Madawaska River, another body of water that is synonymous with my early learning of the ways of wild places.
