Subject: Interior window, white pine cone, & exterior scene Dimensions (inches): 12.25 x 8.25 Medium: Oil Description: This old building was constructed from the original white pine that covered much of Ontario a century ago. The single thick slabs of wood attest to the immense size of these trees. I extended the theme to include the cone of the white pine resting on the window sill, and outside at the crest of the hill one can make out a stand of these trees silhouetted against the sky.
