Subject: Inca Dove Dimensions (inches): 9 x 12 Medium: Oil on Linen Description: Sold at the Arts for the Parks' Miniature show & sale in Jackson, Wyoming. Artist's Comment: 'Inca Doves are quite small and often common in the southwestern United States where they spend much of their time foraging on the ground. However, upon taking flight, their beautiful rusty underwing colors become momentarilly visible in a flash of color that is simialr to the red sandstone that surrounds them.'
