Sheldon Hatching the Egg

Subject: Charactor Robin on an oversized egg carried by a fish Dimensions (inches): 24 x 18 Medium: Oil Description: I drew this funny face over and over in high school. Hadn't thought of it for year. Recently I came up with this and had to paint it. A little different for me. The funky face with a robin mask and body sits on what is a goose egg. A Milletseed Butterfly fish patiently caries the odd mix with an African Porcupine quill and green olive. I took apart an antique broken pocket watch and painted the parts floating around to show time passing.
This painting has been sellected to be in the 'SPECTRUM 13 Fantastic Art' book. Will be out fall of 2006.
