Ditgit's Balance
(2006)
Subject: Groilla, bone, European Robin Dimensions (inches): 18 x 36 Medium: Oil Description: I had a vision to do this painting and had no meaning behind it. When I watched on Discovery station Segorney Weavers 20 return to Rwanda. She visited Digit's grave and there I had it all come to make sence. Digit was Diane Fossey's favorite gorilla. Digit was found dead with his hand cut off. Poachers did that to sell their hands as ash treys. The Robin is a symbol of compassion.
