Subject: Elk Dimensions (inches): 32 x 25 Medium: Oil Description: In this piece I wanted to contrast the majesty of the bull elk with the softness of his reflection. Keeping to a limited palette of blue, brown, and yellow, I also leveraged the Venetian Red gesso to give a glowing effect to the painting.
