Subject: Baby Orca jumping out of the water Dimensions (inches): 2.75 x 4 x 4 Medium: Silver, Diamonds, Fossilized Mastodon Ivory, Sapele Wood and Maple Wood Description: A gemlike sculpture of a baby Orca cast in Argentium Sterling Silver. Argentium is a new .935 sterling alloy that is brighter and resists tarnishing. Argentium contains the metalloid Germanium. The Orca's eyes are inset diamonds. The first base is carved from a unique piece of fossilized Mastodon Ivory found in Northern British Columbia, Canada. (Note the blue-greys, golden-browns and red-browns in the ivory.) The bottom base is made from African Sapele Wood inlayed with Maple. The mirror is Front-Surface Mirror of polished aluminum.
