Subject: Horse and Barn Landscape Dimensions (inches): 21 x 35 x 1 Medium: Oil On Board Description: This painting captures a Gambrel Roof Barn in a scene echoing the foothills. It is a scene that I composed using various different locations and photographs from our travels, versus a particular place in reality. It isn't as often that I find a white painted barn and I really wanted to emphasize that colour throughout the painting. As a result I chose two white horses standing at ease in the scene, and played off these values throughout the mountains and clouds.
