Description: A cormorant, also known as a shag, observes other cormorant as they fly around the red cliffs, enjoying the thermals. These cliffs give the small settlement of Redcliffs, in Christchurch, its name. Sadly, the 2010 and 2011 earthquakes destroyed much of this area.
