Subject: One of the rarest birds in the world Dimensions (inches): 0 x 0 Medium: Watercolour Description: The Chinese Crested Tern was re-discovered in 2000 nesting on the Matsu Islands. I visited the islands where I saw this tern and created this painting for a bird conference in Taiwan in 2007. The painting was used as the conference logo appearing on banners around the city. It is in a private collection.
