Description: In the tropical deciduous forest near Mexico's central western coast, it is common to see White-fronted amazons. Although not endangered, these parrots still suffer from the illegal pet trade. The Blue palm, Brahea aculeata, is is currently listed as a vulnerable species due to land use practices impacting the arroyos in which they are found within the tropical deciduous forest.
