Description: It is always a treat to encounter these playful, social, high energy creatures while out on the water. Living on the coast of British Columbia, the ocean is an integral part of our daily lives. It is a highway, a pantry, a gym and even a TV. These cetaceans joined us while a friend and I were out on an afternoon run around the Discovery Islands on what would've otherwise been a dreary, rain-soaked early spring afternoon. To see these mammals I feel is something very special and almost magical. The moment that they break the surface to breath or flip through the air or even just play, simply has to be experienced.
