Description: The title of this painting is based on the new angle of this composition. It is no longer looking into the cornfield. In this composition the cornfield is seen from the side. You eye is looking along the edge of the field. The corn leaves have an amazingly elegant way of reaching out into the air, creating an arch above the imposing figure of the barn owl. The gaze of the barn own takes you back into the corn. Barn owls also have beautiful colors and textures that are echoed in the corn.
