It takes you away from the stresses of life, and gives you a feeling of calm in the hard work. You plant tiny seeds or seedlings, and there seems to be wonderful helpers that transform them into elegant plants and flowers while you're busy doing other things. Call it what you will, I often feel that I am being assisted in my garden, in my artwork, and in my life in general. This has been an important series of collages for me.
