Subject: Great Horned Owl Dimensions (inches): 28 x 22 Medium: Acrylic on Canvas Description: This Great Horned Owl was being flown in a Bird of Prey demonstration in our local zoo. I was lucky enough to photograph and paint him in flight and at rest, so he will appear in several more paintings. Great Horned Owls hunt both at night and in daylight so he is often seen in the skies of Alberta.
