I have driven over this bridge countless times and thought that it must be a majestic view from above. Several Peregrines have made their nest on the GW bridge; one was brought to the The Raptor Trust of New Jersey to be rehabilitated when she fell from her nest. She was unable to fly and, therefore, could not be returned to the wild. 'Georgette' is now a permanent resident of the Trust.
