Description: I love painting water and that includes ice. This is one of my favorite paintings. It has won a number of awards including the silver medal at the Allied Artists of America in 2011. The challenge of painting the melting ice, the mud and the clear water was really alot of fun and I was happy at how it turned out. I always enjoy painting nature's abstractions. This paintings was recently in the Annual Combined Exhibition at New York's Salmagundi Club
