Description: These two female harbor seal pups were stranded and brought into the Seal Rescue Clinic at Mystic Aquarium. My painting shows them playing together shortly before their successful release back into the ocean. I donated this painting to Sea Research Foundation, the parent organization for Mystic Aquarium. It was auctioned off to support the programs of Sea Research, whose mission is 'To inspire people to care for and protect our ocean planet through education,research and exploration.' www.searesearch.org SOLD
