My first experience in Africa was working for the Cheetah Conservation Fund in Namibia. As anyone who has been can tell you, one trip is never enough. I later travelled to Zimbabwe and Kenya and have more trips planned in the future! You can feel the age of the land there and your senses are awakened like never before. I hope you enjoy coming with me on my journeys through my paintings.
Costa Rica
My husband and I traveled to Costa Rica on our honeymoon and fell in love with the land. Where else can you visit rain forest, cloud forest, white and black sand beaches, and active volcanoes all in a days drive? The land is amazing, and the Costa Rican people, or ticos, are very welcoming. We return whenever we can to share their beautiful country and support their conservation efforts!
North America
Our own land holds many wonders of nature and fascinating animals. It is important to pause and reflect on what we have in our own backyard and take pride in our country. Many of my references for North American species are from photo shoots at reputable game farms while others are wild animals I observed in some of our national parks.
Archives
Every artist is on a journey. My earlier pieces are inspirational to me and show how my style has developed and continues to develop over time.
