Subject: Woman at Okhandja Dimensions (centimeters): 55 x 40 Medium: Mixed Description: This is a painting of one of the women we met who was looking after a stall at the woodcarvers market. She was beautifully dressed and had two little girls that were her pride and joy. As she introduced her daughters to me her face took on that special Mothers glow that we all recognise. As a mother, I can put myself in her shoes and wonder how I might cope were I faced with the same difficulties. I'm always astounded at the strength and resilience of these women
