Subject: Chickadee in an American beech tree Dimensions (inches): 12 x 9 x 2 Medium: oil on board Description: I like looking for faces in trees. I found this old beech tree in my neighborhood. The snow made the tree look like it had a Santa Claus beard. The "eyes" were a little farther up the tree. I just HAD to paint it! All I did was bring the "eyes" down closer to the beard.
