Knox Paradox
(2007)
Subject: cougar Dimensions (inches): 24 x 18 Medium: oil on linen Description: This beautiful cougar lives at the Kamloops wildlife park www.bczoo.org His name is Frazer. I placed him in Knox Mountain Park here in Kelowna, knowing that he could never live here because the park is too close to residential neigbourhoods. The recent and continued loss of ponderosa pines on Knox Mountain to the pine beetle has added new meaning to this painting.
