Subject: African Elephant Dimensions (inches): 12 x 9 x 7 Medium: Bronze Description: Battle Weary is a sculpture of Dionysus at the age of about 50. By this time his right ear had been torn and broken, probably in a fight with another bull. Over the next few years he would break both his tusks. Even though he was beginning to show signs of age and wear, he was still one of Amboseli's most dominant bulls. Dionysus has been featured in the three 'Echo of the Elephants' films, 'Unforgettable Elephants' and the IMAX film, 'Africa's Elephant Kingdom'.
