Description: The lively little numbat is one of Australia's most beautiful marsupial mammals and a delight to see dashing across patches of open ground from one piece of cover to another. This shy and highly endangered animal lives on termites and is threatened by habitat loss and predation. This painting is at present on display as part of the 2008 AFC Exhibition in the USA.
