Whos the Boss? - Burchells Zebras from Namibia by Lyn Ellison
  Whos the Boss?
Subject: Burchells Zebras from Namibia
Dimensions (centimeters): 76 x 102
Description: It must have been that time of year in Etosha National Park in Namibia - there were so many fights going on! The oryx, giraffe, impala and the zebras were all testing the boundaries. When we came across this test of strength the 2 males were really intent on proving who was the strongest. The rest of the herd were standing round looking as though this had all happened many times before. The fight went on for a good 15 minutes with some nasty bites in delicate places! Eventually the weaker of the 2 gave up and sadly plodded away to probably try again another day. I wanted to portray the vigour and energy of the 2 males and the quiet patience of the waiting herd.
