Subject: Desert Elephants Dimensions (centimeters): 41 x 101 Medium: Oil Description: Late in the afternoon we saw this family group of elephants in a wild and remote valley in Namibia. They seemed to fit with their surroundings perfectly, to blend in with rocks and the dust so that you had to blink twice to make sure you had really seen them. Being truely wild animals they were not going to stay around and just as quickly as they had first come into sight, they were gone. There was only the dust drifting up the valley to prove they had ever been there at all.
