Subject: Giraffes Dimensions (centimeters): 87 x 58 Medium: Oil Description: The giraffes in Etosha National Park in Namibia were the most beautiful I have ever seen. They all looked as though they had just been groomed, with their eye lashes curled and their manes neatly combed. I had not been motivated to paint them before this but after I returned home they were the first subject I painted. Giraffes are so good to watch too. There is plenty of time to study their movements as they take their time to drink at a waterhole, slowly bending down with legs outstretched, then standing up again nervously incase there is something dangerous nearby, then repeating the whole proceedure again.
