Subject: Anatomical sketches of giant grazing ground sloth Dimensions (inches): 14 x 8 Medium: Wolf carbon pencil. gouache on coldpress artboard Description: Under the direction of Dr. Greg MacDonald a series of sketches were done to gain a feeling for the giant sloth's skull and to explore how it may have used its flexible upper lip. After this a final rendering was created to show the sloth feeding.
