I chose pastel as my medium for this piece where the vibrant colours enabled me to enhance the hues of the setting sun reflected on the elephants body.
The drawing was sold for $1200 on the opening night of Humane Society International Extinction Denied fundraiser art exhibition on Monday 10th September at the ArtHouse hotel in Sydney. Proceeds went towards HSI animal protection campaigns in Australia and overseas.
