Window into Acadia - Acadia National Park by C. Frederick Lawrenson
  Window into Acadia  (2003)
Subject: Acadia National Park
Dimensions (inches): 18 x 44
Medium: acrylic on Masonite
Description: This painting was inspired by a camping trip to Acadia National Park in Maine. The gulls there were not too difficult to photograph but I was also fortunate enough later to find a dead immature specimen that was in good enough condition to freeze and study. To show the expansiveness of the landscape, I decided to do a panoramic scene. The kind of view we would have if we could have a window into Acadia.
